Step 4: Submit required financial records if requested.

If your project has been evaluated and selected as a possible grant recipient, a trustee will contact you and request copies of your organization's financial statements. You will be asked to supply copies of the last 3 years of Form 990 Tax Returns for Tax Exempt Organizations. Electronic copies are preferred as these are easier to distribute to multiple trustees and therefore this may expedite the evaluation of your request.  Please do not send the financial documents until requested - we only retain requested documentation. [The honest truth is that there are simply too many applications - we would be inundated if we kept all the financial records for every applicant].
