The Covenant House Texas (CHT) is a non-profit human service agency that offers emergency shelter, crisis intervention, and other services to runaway and homeless young people under the age of 21.  The mission of Covenant House Texas is to protect and safeguard all children who come to their agency and to provide them with immediate shelter, food, clothing and medical care.  CHT offers sanctuary from the dangers of street life and abuse, communicates values of love and respect, provides structure in their unstructured lives, and offers the emotional support needed for the youth to be able to choose workable life alternatives.
